At 22, I had achieved what many would call success — interviewing women in leadership roles at The Big Four, co-authoring a book on Women & Leadership with a German consultancy, writing for respected publications, working in start-ups, delivering three TEDx talks, and even performing at the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
But on the inside? I was burnt out and empty. What looked shiny on the outside had left me sick and disconnected. So, I packed my life into two suitcases and moved to Mexico, starting from scratch. I gave myself six months to follow my joy as an experiment — that experiment never ended. I healed, journaled, and redefined what success truly meant to me.
